Announcements sale day take precedence over any and all previously printed materials in regard to this sale! H&B Horse Sales, Inc. reserves the right to substitute or delete consignments, and rescheduling times. 

Terms: Cash-cashiers checks, money order or personal checks with 2 positive forms of ID. Visa and MasterCard will be accepted with a charge to cover handling fees. No buyer premium.

U.S. Funds Only. We reserve the right to refuse to issue a bidding number to buyers we have had check problems with in the past. Bad check charge $100 plus collection agency fees, attorney fees and bank charges. Checks to consignors will not be mailed until the 10th banking day after the sale. Keep check 21 in mind. 

By acquiring a bidder card, purchaser agrees to the terms and conditions of this sale and is liable for the total cost of goods purchased, including any collection costs, attorney fees and expenses that may become necessary for settlement. 

Commission Rates:
$15 - $100 - 25% of last bid, sale or no sale
$101 - $500 - 16% of last bid if sold, n/s fee - $30 per item
$501 up - $25 consignment fee per item plus 10% commission of last bid if sold. N/S fee $25 per item (consignment fee)
Horses - $65 consignment fee per head plus 6% commission. Horse sellers will pay $10.50 per head brand inspection fee. N/S fee - $65 per head (consignment plus brand inspection fee)
Loose horses - 8% commission, sale or no sale. 

Settlement: All items must be settled for at the close of each days’ sale.

All guarantees are between buyer and seller!

Note to consignors – charity wagon: All items not receiving a $15 bid in the sale will be donated by consignor and put in the charity wagon. All sellers agree to this item.

Buyers beware: Everything is sold on an AS-IS – Where-Is basis. 

While descriptions are believed to be accurate the auctioneers and owners make no warranties, expressed or implied as to the genuiness, authenticity of, or defect of any lot. 

The NO SALE right is reserved by the seller before animal or merchandise leaves the ring. The auctioneer reserves the right to reject any and all bids. 

H&B Horse Sales, Inc. and the Sweetwater County Events Complex shall not be liable for any injury sustained by anyone attending the sale before, after or during the sale. 

Each horse must have a brand inspection and an individual Bill of Sale. Seller provides one for the brand inspector. Brand inspector provides one for the new owner. Horses in this sale have not been vet checked. Seller will pay $10.50 per head Brand Inspection Fee. Coggins status will be announced at sale time. Coggins and health papers must be turned into office and shall be given to buyer when the horses are paid for. Out of state horses are required by Wyoming State Law to have a Brand Inspection and an individual Coggins Test and Health Certificate. We feel a negative Coggins test would be beneficial to all sellers and buyers. The seller shall be responsible for the expense of obtaining a Coggins test for horses coming from within the state that do not have a Coggins test BUT are purchased by a buyer who need s a Coggins tested horse. 

Barns will be available: We prefer that you brign your own feed. If this is not possible, hay can be purchased from a local vendor. 

Horses selling as broke are required to hitch wagons available. 

Loose horses must be in the outdoor arena by 9:00 a.m., November 29th. We will have five or six buyers that could use these horses. Saddle horses, draft horses and mules must be checked in by 9:00 a.m., November 29th. Attention Sellers: A good halter and lead rope must stay with the horses after being sold. If not, $35 will be deducted from consignor check. 

Notice to consignors: Consignors and owners use caution when driving or riding horses in the sale ring or on the ground because you are liable for actions of your horse(s). H&B Sales, Inc in not responsible for any accidents or injuries. 

Dogs: We prefer no dogs at the sale – if you bring a dog you must have it on a leash.

Removal: Merchandise and horses must be removed the day or sale unless arrangements are made with management. 

Sales Tax: Wyoming sales tax applies. New laws – all dealers in state and out of state must complete Wyoming’s new streamlined sales tax agreement to be exempt. Dealers from non-tax states must provide evidence of business registration from their home state. 

Absolutely no junk!

Brand, Vet and Health: Brand inspectors and veterinarian will be available. Absolutely no private sales on grounds. Vendor spaces will be available for $125 each, call ahead. 

Sale management reserves the right to sort and place sale items, to establish selling order. 

We are expecting a large number of horses and horse related items. To make consignments call the sale management . Thanks to all early consignors for getting your consignments and pictures to us to make this publication possible.
